I'm BLESSED and I know it!
I was sent an e-mail this past week and there were a few things that jumped out at me. The first one was this :
"Where did so many of us get the idea that if we are too happy, something terrible is going to happen?"
I decided to face the fact that I have a good life. I don't have to walk around looking at the glass half empty and worrying if something bad is going to happen to me. I don't have to feel bad because God has blessed me abundantly. I don't have to allow others to dump their garbage on me to make me feel stinky. I'm BLESSED and I know it.
I choose to walk around with a smile on my face and a song in my heart. It's really okay to be happy. God wants us to enjoy all the great and wonderful things that He has put on this earth.
Everyone doesn't have to have gone through hard and terrible times to have a testimony - sometimes the fact that God sheltered us and covered us and kept us from foolishness is testimony enough.
I'm BLESSED and I know it!
WOW -- This is more powerful than you can imagine. Why should we feel funny when things are going well? Yes, there are ups and down but truly we should rejoice that we are blessed. Maybe if we did that more often the blessings would continue to flow. Lord, I thank you for every blessing that you have bestowed upon me!!!!
